Here’s another component that virtually all online application will need sooner or later. Via Ajaxian comes this neat calendar implementation for MooTools.

We really need MooTools bindings for Seaside.

I know Michael Lucas-Smith is working on something for VisualWorks, but I don’t know the specifics. I also have a branch of our code that uses it instead of Scriptaculous and YUI, but its a little more tied in with our stuff and not a separate project like Scriptaculous.

I’d like to see it available for Seaside as well.. I was trying to get various parts of YUI to play (care of your starting place Boris), but was having a hard time coming up with what I thought were proper bindings into Seaside.. Perhaps MooTools is better — I’ve not looked at it yet.

Rick, perhaps you should consider joining forces with Michael and Philippe to push it forward?
